You need to lie downward on the belly and legs stretched. Arms to be placed below the shoulder, toes must touch the floor and chin to be kept on the floor. Slowly, raise the chest upward and bend backward as much possible while inhalation. The body will appear like a cobra, who is all set to strike with raised head. Hold in this pose for approx. 15 seconds and more based on your potential. Then, bring back your body slowly to the prone pose during exhalation. Repeat the whole process atleast 5 times.

2. Noukasana (Boat Pose)

Yet another effective yoga asana to reduce belly fat is noukasana. It helps in getting rid of the fat around the abdominal waist. It also helps to strengthen the leg and back muscles. You need to lie down in supine position with arms facing down to the sides and legs kept together stretched. Start raising the legs but don’t bend the knees while inhaling. Foot and toes must be stretched outward. Raise legs to the maximum height possible. Then both the arms must be raise straight. Try to reach the toes. The body pose will be approximately 45 degrees angle. Keep your breath normal. Hold this posture for about 15 seconds. Then go back to the supine position exhaling gently. Repeat the whole process for atleast 5 times.

3. Dhanurasana (Bow Pose)

This is indeed one of the best yoga asanas to fight abdominal fat and strengthen abdominal core. Hold in the pose and rock in a pendulum motion back and forth to attain the maximum potential. This strengthens the abdomen, activates the digestive system, fights away constipation and provides a good stretch to the entire body. Lie down on the belly with stretched legs together and arms on either sides of the body in prone position. Gently bend the knees and reach the arms to your ankles of the feet and hold it. Lift the head and bend it backward while inhaling. Also, lift the legs as much as you can. Stay in this pose for about 15 to 30 seconds. Keep the breath normal. Slowly go back to the prone pose while exhaling. Repeat it 5 times.

4. Pavanmukhtasana (Wind Easing Pose)

To burn those belly fat, this is one of the most effective yoga asanas. It helps in relieving the lower backache, tones the abs and firms the hips and the thighs. It also helps in massaging the colon and maintains the pH level significantly. Besides, it helps in enhancing the metabolism and provides relief from constipation as well. Lie down on the back with arms at either sides and legs stretched out. The heels must touch one another. During inhalation, bend the knees and bring them near your chest. Apply pressure on the abdomen using the thighs. Clasp the hands beneath yur thighs to hold the knees in the position. Breathe. Hold this pose for about 90 seconds. While exhalation, release the knees and go back to the original position.

5. Kumbhakasana (Plank Pose)

This is the yoga pose to burn belly fat effectively. It helps in strengthening shoulders, thighs, buttocks, arms and tones them as well. The hands and knees to be kept right beneath the hips and the shoulders. The toes to be tucked under and step feet back to extend the legs behind the body. During inhalation, look ahead of the palms to align the spine and the neck and hold the ab muscles. The body should be in straight line, right from the head to the heels. The hands should be placed flat on the ground with fingers spread apart. Maintain this pose for 30 seconds and even more. During exhalation, drop back the knees. Repeat this for five times daily.
