4. Turmeric

Turmeric is known to have benefits for almost every health problem. And yes for sore throat as well, the spice has an excellent advantage. You can simply add a spoon of this spice in your hot milk. And drink this milk twice a day. This method offers a combined benefit of milk and this spice and hence, an added health benefit. The spice helps to manage this problem by giving relief from the inflammation and the pain that occur during this health problem.

5. Take Steam

In case of having this problem, one must avoid cold foods and drinks. Because, it will lead to buildup of more mucus. While the hot food and drinks will help to avoid the formation of mucus and thereby, help to manage throat pain and inflammation. And one more thing, always prefer freshly cooked food. And yes, you can take steam too. Steam, when travels down our throat will loosen up the mucus acts as one of the effective sore throat remedies. Also, prefer hot water bath during this problem.
