After the birth of her first child, son Viaan in 2009, this fitness beauty gained a lot of pounds because of all the fatty products like milk and ghee she used to consume. However, she was not at all comfortable with her hefty figure. And, 4.5 months post pregnancy she switched to workouts. She had the limitation of not executing workouts based on her convenience since she was a nursing mother. She consumed 2200 calories daily, which had high protein, high fats and low carbs food items. She started with light exercises like walking, cycling for approximately 20 minutes daily. She increased the duration and intensity gradually. During those days she did her workouts when her baby used to sleep in the afternoon.

The exquisite Diva is a firm believer of the rule that the lesser is more. She has never ever looked cakey with too much of makeup. She has never overloaded her skin with the cosmetic products. She says to accentuate only one feature. She also suggests that grabbing a minimum of 8 hours of sleep daily is absolutely essential.
