  1. I went to counseling with my husband (alright the relationship ended, but years later over something else).

It was very beneficial and made both of us realize that what we saw as wrong was not what the other person saw as wrong. That was very enlightening.

  2. I think counseling is healthy especially if you want to stay in the relationship and work it out with your partner. These are all awesome benefits, definitely something that could help make the relationship work.

  3. Fully agree that saving a relationship is lot more challenging than breaking it. It is important to figure out what you both think the problems are in your relationship and discuss, trying to resolve the problem. Thanks for sharing such useful article!

  4. If I was in a relationship I would totally be down for relationship counseling. Sometimes its ok to have a professional try to mend things together or even improve a relationship its not a bad thing.

  5. I totally agree. A third party provides that objectivity that sometimes those who are involved in the relationship have too much “baggage” to consider.

  6. Relationship counseling is a very mature way to solve your problems, and it proofs that you still love each other and are willing to do what it takes to stay together.. that could be another benefit.

  7. If more people worked as hard on saving a relationship as they did wooing the person to get into it, there’d be a lot less divorce rate. Relationships are hard, no doubt about it.
