Simply add a glass or more of wine in the manure or fertilizer for your garden. The alcohol will give the bacteria a push to activate quickly. It also helps to keep away harmful bacteria that may attack your plantation. You can also use the same for indoor plants and flowers. Just be careful not to add too much to attract flies instead.

The acidic content in red wine is strong enough to break down the grease components making them easier to wash off. So, soak your grease stained clothing in a solution or bath of water and wine. Soak the mixture for about 30 minutes and wash. You can get even better results, if you add in a little bit of baking soda.
