The season of nuptials is up and family and friends look forward to the newly-wed couple to lead a happy and peaceful married life. The couple steps into a new life full of responsibilities, sacrifices and compromises. When these two individuals from two different family backgrounds tie knot and start living together, many a time tensions peep into. This, if not treated well in advance and with sincerity and care, may even lead to divorce or separation endangering the peace and harmony of the entire family. 1. Spending Time with Each Other

Marriage is not just about staying with each other. It’s all about spending quality time with each other, understanding each others feelings, thoughts and respecting each others feelings whole-heartedly. Many times, it happens that a highly successful courtship results in a failed marriage. Also, after the birth of a baby, the mother hardly finds time for her husband since, she becomes totally engrossed with the baby. The husband feels solitary and unattended. 2. Understand Each Others Families

One major cause of conflict among the couple is the failure to understand each other’s families. To avoid such condition, the major solution is to change the frame of mind. When you decide to say “I do”, you no longer remain different from each other’s family. Instead, if you intend to think yourself as one of the members of each other’s families, there will absolutely be no misunderstanding or conflicts. Treat your in-laws as your own parents. Everybody seeks appreciation and attention. Often we desire our better half to be better, more compassionate, more considerate or to fit exactly with our fantasy world. Instead of blaming or accusing each other, try appreciating for what the person is. Show that the individual means the world to you and you really enjoy being with your spouse. Oft we find that one or the other partner simply needs to spill or vent out the frustration and tension of the entire day. And, since you are the closest person to your better half, he may vent out his frustration on you or vice versa. Please be patient and let him do so. Also, do not provide any crisis intervention or suggestion in between. Those are totally unwanted and may even act against you. Simply listen to the frustration and let your better half feel comforted. If required, give your suggestions when the situation calms down. Keep things simple. Also get rid of smothering habit or public display of affection (PDA) too much if your better half is not comfortable with it. This will help to rejuvenate your relationship and assure to keep the intimacy and spark in your relationship alive.
