You could not be more wrong. When you eat healthily, you feed your muscles with the right amount of nutrients in order to grow and repair. Eating rubbish foods, which are high in saturated fats may have minute values of nutrients, but it doesn’t add much value to your body, as well as increasing stomach fat.
2. Not Eating Enough Because You’re Overweight
Eating and working out go hand in hand especially, when weight loss is involved. You need to eat in order to burn fat, and it is not healthy to do so in an empty stomach. Similar to obtaining muscles, you need to eat a healthy balanced meal, regular sized portions, around 4-5 times a day. However, when you are trying to lose weight, eat more fruits, vegetables and meals high in protein and take in a few less carbs than you normally would. 3. Over Lifting
There is nothing worse than walking into a gym. But, there is also nothing wrong with that. Remember that everyone in that gym was once a time an amateur. Build yourself up and don’t choose the heaviest weight sacrificing your form in order to fuel your ego. It’s not worth it and it will damage you. It is the same with a lot of things in life. So, remember that the quality of your workout is always better than the amount of reps or exercises you would eventually do. Do it properly and take your time.
4. The All Important Routine
This is yet another important gym mistakes made by the beginners. Is your workout routine making you feel a lot more confident? Well it’s time for a change. Your body can quickly adapt to the strain it is put under. So, the more regular your workouts become, the quicker you will need to change your routine and try something different.
5. Too Much Talking, Not Enough Lifting
When you arrive in the gym, the first thing you should think of is training hard. It can be a place to socialize. But more importantly, it is there for you to workout. There is nothing more frustrating than seeing two people share a piece of equipment, talk for long periods of time and keep everyone else waiting. You need to crack on. Some gym goers also enter a mindset. So, remember that speaking to them could disturb it making it harder for them to push harder. Train with people, who have the same goals of you and ensure that you both work as hard as one another in order to reach your goals, rather than with someone who wants something completely different.
